Natalie is this year’s FaithJustice Fellow. During her time at Princeton University, she recognized two things: the importance of social justice, and the centrality of her Catholic faith to her life. Although she served as Girl Scout and in other capacities, she never had the opportunity to combine service with faith. Working at a women’s shelter for abused female foreign domestic workers especially made her wonder how these two could intersect. After serving as a volunteer for a JusticeworX trip to Appalachia, she found her answer at CFJ and in Catholic Social Teaching. She is grateful for the FaithJustice Fellowship, which has given her the unique opportunity to serve, grow, and discern.
